Upon site survey we found that half of the original lime-screed floor had cracked and blown. As a result pieces were coming loose, some were missing and others had cracked.
We carefully uplifted the damaged section of Victorian floor tiles and Encaustic pieces and set aside. Replacement pieces were sourced from our lock-up.
Damaged screed was cleared away and a new screed was laid with a thin layer of latex to finish.
Tiles re-laid with a flexible cement based adhesive to original geometric pattern, grouted, diamond buffed and sealed.
