Highbury, North London

Upon site survey we found a channel had been chopped through the width of the hallway to place a pipe and the section beyond this around the stairs totally blown and loose.

Section where pipe had been chopped we filled and covered locally with a decoupling membrane.

A fine layer of latex was poured then replacement salvaged Victorian tile  pieces re-laid to original pattern, with flexible cement based adhesive to original geometric pattern, grouted, diamond buffed and sealed.
